I MADE IT! I would have never imagined this journey could have turned out to be such a positive experience when I began.
I got back from my end of Summer Vacation completely deflated. Spending a week long vacation in your bathing suit after over indulging and making bad choices all Summer long was the eye opener I needed. My husband and I came back with the resolution that something had to be done about our fitness routine, our nutrition and start making responsible choices. I was not happy with what I saw and knew I had to do something about it! The decision to join Beachbody and start a 21 Day fitness program was daunting because I knew I had to toss away all my old habits and start fresh, not to mention incorporate daily workouts into my already busy life as a mom of 2 boys. At this point, I was out of shape, had little endurance and had lost most of my muscle mass from lack of physical activity. This was not going to be easy. I knew I couldn't do this alone, that I would lose my motivation, so I turned to my coach for help. She made sure to give me the support I need by adding my to a Challenge Group that helped keep me on track.
I was dedicated to the process and trusted that it would work. My faith in myself that I could accomplish the fitness goals that I set was important as well. This program forced me to take an honest look at my health & daily food and alcohol consumption.
After just one Round of the 21 Day Fix program, using the portion control containers and the additional nutritional assistance of Shakeology each day, the results were unbelievable. I also am so grateful to my very own Coach and the Challenge Group for being there for support every step of the way. This program was exactly what I needed to get me motivated to continue my fitness journey and find new ways to push and challenge my body to continue transforming and sculpting it. What is amazing about this, is the fact that I have never been a fan of exercise or sticking to any fitness program but at 41 years old, I finally found something that really worked. I will never view fitness and nutrition the same.
